Despite a sub-par round on Thursday, the world’s No. 1 golfer finds herself tied for 12th and just outside the medal race heading into Friday’s third round at Le Golf National.
The reigning Tokyo 2020 Olympic gold medallist will be looking to have a bogey-free day after a costly seven on the par-3 16th hole followed by a bogey on the 17th hole in Thursday’s second round dropped her from a tie to second in the standings.

Korda will enter Friday’s third round six shots behind Swiss Morgan Metraux, who currently leads at 8 under par. She is three shots off a podium finish as New Zealand’s Lydia Ko currently sits in bronze and third at 5 under par.
